The Pandiyan Library provides access to not only all the students, faculty members and research scholars of Senthamil College but also for persons from other educational institution and even to public. The Pandiyan library has a rich collection of 60,000 volumes of books, 150 Ph.D., thesis, 1400 dissertations pertaining to Tamil discipline catering to the academic needs of students and faculty. It subscribes to well reputed journals and magazines. It is specifically supported with various learning aids such as Maps, CD?s, DVD?s, Micro Films and Palm leaf Manuscripts. We have been using Autolib, an integrated library management system since 2009. OPAC a search module is applicable for every library user. It contains a variety of search options and links within the results, advanced search ? boolean search etc.,. An another ILMS software named Impres software has been purchased as its seems advanced and updated versions. Printing and photocopying facilities are also available.

Open Access system, display of new arrivals, newspaper clippings, bar code technology, reference service, reprography service, user orientation programs organized every year.
Department Library :
A department is also functions in the college premises to enhance the reading skills of the students.
The following rare palm leaf manuscripts are available in the library in good condition. All of them are digitized in collaboration with government of Tamilnadu.
